A town in Parker County, TX, Millsap was one of the original relay stations on the stagecoach route that ran from Weatherford to Palo Pinto, tying the community into the long history of the Lone Star State. The town was named for Fuller Millsap, who had moved to Texas in 1849 and then relocated to Parker County in 1856. A Millsap post office opened officially in 1877.
