All About Historic McKinney TX

As the county seat of Collin County TX, McKinney is the third largest city in the county with a 2020 population of 195,308. It’s been a very fast growing community in the twenty-first century, with only 53,369 people in 2000. McKinney Texas was first formed in 1859, and it was the commercial hub of the county for the first 125 years of his life, providing goods and services for nearby farmers. Today, Historic Downtown McKinney is a fun place to visit where you can see some of the old buildings from this time, including the Old Collin County Courthouse.
