Located solidly in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in Tarrant County, Haltom City is considered a suburb of Fort Worth with a population of 46,073 as of the 2020 Census. Haltom City Texas is also surrounded by other DFW suburbs, including Richland Hills and North Richland Hills, as well as Watauga.
