A small incorporated town in western Parker County, TX, Cool is located along U.S. Highway 180, eleven miles west of Weatherford. The area features Slipdown Mountain and Slipdown Bluff, the highest points in the county.
The county is named for Isaac Parker, a senator who has served four terms in the Texas legislature.
